Description:

Top & Bottom automatic feed through machine for V-grooving solid surface and wood materials. (1) 10 HP Shaper head w/TEFC (Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled) AC motor driving a Precision spindle with a 1.5" dia. shaft, rated at 7,000 RPM spindle speed. Rides on a Precision linear bearing profile guideway for Y-Axis movement. Shaper tooling can be stacked up to (5) tools high (differing profiles) then adjusted for height to utilize the individual tool needed for the product being run. Equipped with a Heavy Duty cutter guard with a 4" dia. dust outlet. (1) Top & (1) Bottom V-grooving head, each with 7.5 HP TEFC motor, with 1-1/2" dia. shaft and 4" dust collection outlets. Each head mounted on dovetail slide column for up-and-down depth adjustment (Z-axis) & THK linear bearing slides for in-and-out adjustment (Y-axis); travels with air cylinder & adjustable stop. Depth control of V-groove with PROSCALE LED readout, approx. 6" in-and-out (Y-axis). 3" Wide air activated Top & Bottom automatic tape applicator with automatic cutoff; 1/4" to 1-1/8" material thickness, board width from 4" min. and no max. width restrictions, min. board length 12", and approx. 6" max. cut depth from edge panel. 6" Wide top & bottom driven feed chains with non-marking rubber pad inserts traveling on hardened and precision ground 0.625" dia. rods. 1.5 HP AC Variable speed drive, feed rate from 5 - 40 FPM.Complete with: Adjustable infeed fence system, infeed & outfeed front table supports, side table with roller-ball surface, safety guards & cutter-guards, (3) dust hoods 4" dia.
