5' x 12' Moving gantry, stationary table design in a front-to-back configuration;

Specifications:
Double-zone phenolic vacuum plenum; (11) pop-up pins for part location within the table & (3) around the table perimeter for nested-based manufacturing.

Equipped with:
(1) 15 HP HSK-63F Type grease-lubricated spindle, variable speed from 1,000 - 24,000 RPM, ATC with 10-station tool carousel.
Boring:
(1) 17-spindle vertical drill block with (10) in X- & (7) in Y-axis.
All axes:
Powered by FANUC brushless AC Servo motors. The X-axis is driven by twin synchronous helical rack & pinion drive, and the Y- & Z-axis by precision ground ball screws with anti-lash ball nuts. axes ride on STAR linear guides & recirculating linear roller bearing's for rapid feed rates up to 3,150 IPM on the X-axis, 2,362 IPM on the Y-axis, and 1,181 IPM on Z-axis.
