Description:

WEMHONER KT-V-1E, ... Feed Through Press System. Single-opening Feed Through Press; platens are 4-1/2" thick solid steel, 79" x 130" (3,300 x 2,000 mm) actual size; end loading press on 79" side with a 6-1/2" daylight opening. Platens are through bored for hot oil circulation; max. temperature based on boiler capacity, but platen temperature should not exceed 120° C (248° F) per original manufacturer specifications; Press does NOT include a Boiler. Pressure is applied by (8) downstroke, 7" dia. (175 mm) hydraulic cylinders; (2) lift cylinders assist press opening; max. press operating pressure is 130 PSI (640 metric tons) based on 100% platen area coverage. Hydraulic pump powered by 18.5 kW (25 HP) motor with max. line pressure of 350 bar. Main press frame has (3) 3" thick flame cut steel plates in the center area and (2) 1-1/2" thick plates, one on each end. Weld-free mechanical assembly provides max. strength & distortion-free operation; Rack & Pinion gears for platen balancing & flatness control. Press System has a Press with feed through Mylar belt system and powered outfeed conveyor. Separate free-standing Control Panel includes: SIEMENS "S5-100U" programmable Controller & "OP393" operator interface panel.
