MVM - GM 1000, ...Straight Knife Grinder.For straight knives up to a 39" in length: ideal for Planer and Chipper knives. Head speed: Automatic head travel with speed up to 33 FPM. Manual wheel down feed adjustable in .01 mm increments. Grinding Motor: 2 HP Grinding motor with 16 mm spindle/shaft. Tilts from -5° to 90° with scale from -5° to +5°. Chuck clearance to wheel is 1.2" and chuck width is 3-1/2".Coolant: Flood coolant system with two lines for both directions.Chuck: Newly Rebuilt Magnetic T-groove chuck to stack grinding of knives with step blocks. Head travels on hardened and ground replaceable wear strips and head travel guides, tiltable -5° to 95°. .NOTE: Machine is in EX-FACTORY's "Zeeland, MI" Warehouse and Repair Facility. - Thoroughly checked out and ready to ship!
