GRECON DIMTER, COMBIPACT 4 ... Finger Jointer Line Package Includes WEINIG RONDAMAT R 912 Automatic Tool Grinder. Application:For finger jointing softwood or hardwood books with the following dimensions: Length from 150 mm to 1000 mm (6” to 39”); Width from 38 mm to 205 mm (1-1/2” to 8”); Thickness from 20 mm to 60 mm (3/4” to 2-3/8”); Block ratio of length to width is 2:1. Maximum assembled board length is 6100mm (240”) long.SYSTEM CONSISTS OF: Station #1:Compartment transport consisting of (1) insertion compartment and (5) rotating lay-up compartments. Block bundling is used to supply the Shaper Section with prepared packets of incoming blocks and to provide a buffer zone to keep the Shaper working at full capacity.The packet to be finger jointed is fed into the transverse transport section. The transverse transport moves the packets forward so there will always be a full packet in the Shaper charging position. The charging compartment is equipped with a conveyor belt that automatically moves the next package of blocks into the Shaper and consists of a welded metal table with pneumatically movable slide for automatic charging of the Shaper.The block packet is transported by a previous transport unit to the infeed station and by actuating the slide, it is positioned at the shaping table.Station #2: Combipact Finger Jointing Shaper in heavy design with (2) machining units and a continuously traveling middle feed table and block support. Hogging spindles powered by 11.5 kW (15.5 HP) motors driving the hogging heads at 2,860 RPM. Shaper spindles powered by 22 kW (30 HP) motors driving the cutter heads at 3,000 RPMThe middle table consists of a divided transport system, two clamping stations and is guided by means of a precision linear bearing guide rails, rack and pinion driven. The machining spindles consist of a hogging unit and a shaping unit.The block packet is fed onto the middle table by the infeed unit's slide. Horizontal and vertical clamping cylinders clamp the package. The forward stoke passes the hogging head and cuts a reference edge on the LH side of the blocks and is adjustable to the length of the finger joint profile.The block package is released and transported via flat belt to the RH side, re-clamped top/side and on the back-stroke the block units are trimmed, shaped and carried out past the glue application system onto a transfer belt. At belts end they are aligned and continuously fed sideways by the cross feed unit. The block package is separated and blocks are fed one-by-one either directly to the infeed belt or with a 90° turn and aligned to a fixed fence.GLUE APPLICATOR:The FLANKENJET glue application system is integrated into the second shaper unit at the outfeed of the Shaper Section.Station #3:Pre-assembly, the separated blocks are fed via a rapid transport belt to the infeed track before the Press Section. The infeed track is built with lateral chain to feed the blocks as they arrive from a high speed conveyor belt. The chains, together with spring-loaded top pressure devices, ensure that the finger-jointed blocks are preassembled in an endless strand without offset. The electrically driven feed unit consists of a pair of ribbed rollers with frequency controlled AC-cylinder engines. The upper roller is pneumatically driven and presses onto the blocks for block transport and/or positioning of blocks. Controlled by a length measuring or light barrier system. With fast and slow speed for accurate positioning. PRESS SECTION: Hydraulic Finger Jointing Assembly Press designed with heavy steel construction with feed table, pneumatically driven retard device and length measuring. The press consists of: (2) table levels; (2) separate kicker systems, a cutoff saw station, a press cylinder at the front of the Press and a stop pressure system to adjust the pressing length. Hydraulic Power-Pac powered by a 5.2 kW motor; generates 6-12 tons pressure.Pressing of pre-assembled ribbons of blocks: The finger jointed blocks are pre-pressed by the retard device. The incoming ribbon is guided from both sides. The ribbon is independent of the pressing function that is running at the same time. The press length is entered via a length measuring system. The 2.2 kW cut-off-saw cuts the ribbon to the required length. After pressing the assembled and finished boards are pushed out onto outfeed rails for manual stacking.INCLUDED:WEINIG R 912 Automatic Tool Grinder for straight knives, mill to pattern and finger-joint heads, ground in the cutter-head.Specifications: ● Solid spindle carrier with precise guides for the concentricity below 0.0002". ● Grinding wheel dia. 5" with bore dia. 20 mm. Grinding spindle 2 HP, with spindle speed of 4,600 RPM.
