Description:

CANTEK MODEL REC-610A DOUBLE STRAIGHTENING PLANER;

Specifications:

24" Width x 8" thickness cap., min. material length 12-1/2" and min. thickness 3/8"; 20 HP top & 15 HP bottom motor, belt driven helical spiral cutterheads @ 6,000 RPM; each head features (6) rows of 4-sided carbide inserts. Variable feed speed 23 - 52 FPM; feed table is hard chrome plated and precision ground for maximum wear resistance.

Equipped with: (2) Sets of 4" dia. upper pneumatic pressure rollers, (1) 4" dia. powered top outfeed roller, (1) non-powered 4" dia. bed roller & caterpillar feed chain system with an auto-adjustment device to prevent damage due to improper tension. Powered by 3 HP drive, lowering-and-raising of bed table on (4) gib-guided post screws via a 0.5 HP motor. The transmission system is directly driven by flexible shafts for high accuracy; PC control for fine adjustment of thickness control.

Complete with: Overhead control panel mounted to a swiveling column with push button controls and LED readouts for height & speed adjustments.
